You have probably been thinking for some time about selling your property. To get the best price, you need to get your house "in order". This means, fixing all those little things that have been on your list for ages - things like, changing light bulbs, fixing fencing, weeding the garden, painting the room you never got round to doing etc! It also means that now is the time to declutter. Do a room at a time and keep boxes for stuff you want to keep, stuff to donate to charity and stuff to throw away. This can feel like hard work, but I promise you, you will feel better when you have finished. Remember that people make a decision on whether to buy a house very quickly, so make sure your front entrance door is clean, the front light works, the pathway is weed free and the front garden looks tidy. you do not need to live in a clinical environment, but try to keep it as neutral as possible to that potential buyers can see themselves living there.
